The Logistics Pathway is split across two-parts.

 

Part 1: In the classroom the course will take 3 weeks to complete.  This is based on 5 days attendance per week.  Classes start at 10am each day and finish at 4pm with 30 minutes for lunch.  Studying this qualification online will take approximately 6 weeks.

Part 2: In the classroom the course will take 2 weeks to complete.  This is based on 5 days attendance per week.  Classes start at 10am each day and finish at 4pm with 30 minutes for lunch.  Studying this qualification online will take approximately 6 weeks.

About the course

If you are interested in working in the logistics sector and want to secure your C or C&E licence then this is the course for you!

During this course you will study:

Part 1:

  • Award in Personal Development for Employability;

  • Award in English (Speaking and Listening, Reading and Writing);

  • Certificate in Mathematics; and,

  • Certificate in Safe Road Skills and Attitudes.

Once you have successfully completed Part 1 you will be required to undertake a medical review in order to apply for the appropriate provisional licence. 

Part 2:

  • Certificate in Customer Service; and,

  • Certificate in Logistics Operations.  
     

Once you have successfully completed Part 2 you will be required to undertake a hazard perception test before completing your driver training. 

What will I be able to do after completing the course?

After you have successfully completed this course you will be eligible to complete your driver training at no cost to yourself.

How will I be assessed?

Portfolio of evidence.

Entry requirements?

You must have a car driving licence.
