How do I determine if I am an Adult Learner?
If you are aged 19 or over on the 31st of August in the Academic Year you are proposing to study in, then you are an Adult Learner.
Whilst you can choose to be an Apprentice, many Adult Learners like the flexibility afforded to them to choose to study on a learning aim by learning aim basis.
As an Adult Learner there is no minimum duration.
What levels can I study?
Adult Learners can study any level from Entry Level 1 to Level 3 without the need to access an Advanced Learning Loan.
The level of study will be determined by your previous experience and/ or the previous qualifications you have achieved..
For Adult Learners who are unemployed, are actively seeking work and are claiming a benefit, there is no charge for this course.
For Adult Learners who are employed and earning less than £17,004.00, there is no charge for the course.
