How to book your Lorry Driver Training with N-Gaged

Step by step guide to obtaining your Provisional Entitlement

1. You must hold a car driving licence and be over 21 years of age; 

2. Contact our training centre on 0117 9603 693 to obtain an information pack or e-mail your request to mail@n-gaged.co.uk; 

3. Undertake a medical examination with a doctor. Take the Medical Examination Form (D4) provided with our information pack to the medical. N-Gaged have a Doctor visit the training centre regularly and the current fee is £50; 

4. Complete the application Form (D2); 

5. Send the application and medical forms to DVLC, Swansea with your existing licence; 

6. When you receive your provisional entitlement, contact our office on 0117 9603 693 to arrange your FREE driving assessment. You will be introduced to one of our qualified instructors who will support you when you drive the lorry at our training centre and on the road. Assessments with N-Gaged are FREE OF CHARGE and there is no obligation.

When you book your LGV training with N-Gaged Training, we will make all the arrangements regarding both your theory and practical driving tests with the Driving Standards Agency. The theory test fee is Multiple Choice £35.00 and Hazard Perception £15.00 and the practical test fee is £105.00. There is no VAT on LGV tests. Note: You are required to have passed the LGV theory test before taking the practical test. Theory books and hazard perception CDs can be purchased from our office. You are welcome to take a FREE computer mock theory test at our training centre, or attend an LGV theory day.

We are proud to offer our excellent training facilities Longwell Green, Bristol. These include an extensive flat tarmac area, reversing area markings simulating the driving test centre.
You have full use of our rest room lunchtime or there are mobile caterers on site if preferred.
We have ample parking available at our centre and we can offer a choice of accommodation close to the centre if required.
